Job Summary
The Web Analytics Program Manager will manage web analytics and tag management tools, web user privacy tools, and compliance with website data privacy requirements, in support of marketing analytics for UCSF’s mission and business areas. They will support web data integrations with third party vendor partners and UCSF technology teams, while providing analytical, technical, and community support for UCSF’s digital marketing and communications professionals.
Reporting into the Web Services Manager, the ideal Web Analytics Program Manager uses data and user experience to drive decisions, and proactively communicates trends and insights to key decision-makers. The Website Analytics Project Manager will be accountable for managing website KPIs, supporting metrics, and triggers. The ideal candidate should have experience with content tagging and taxonomy, advanced web analytics, analytics strategy, and implementation. A strong focus on user experience (UX), user storytelling, and journeymapping will support the program manager’s success.
We prefer candidates with hands-on experience managing tags on websites, using tools like Google Tag Manager or SiteImprove, as well as SQL skills and deeper technical and/or analytical skills.
