Washer – Packaging – 20 month contract in Laval, Quebec

1. Purpose of the position

Under the supervision of the Supervisor, Production, the incumbent carries out production operations based on precise instructions in compliance with good manufacturing practices, procedures and safety instructions.

2. Main functions

WASHING AND DRYING EQUIPMENT PARTS

• Carries out washing and drying of production equipment parts (manufacturing and packaging)

• Stores parts specific to manufacturing and packaging

• Performs washing of premises (laundry rooms)

PREPARATION OF SOLUTIONS

• Prepares the required manufacturing and packaging solutions

GMP and HSE

• Performs his work in compliance with current GMP and HSE standards, policies and procedures

• Guarantees to declare any quality/HSE event to his manager

• Reports problems and suggests improvements

OTHER TASKS

• Performs the work of a packaging operator (end of line) when the washing volume is lower

• Attends meetings both during manufacturing and packaging

• Can provide input into production management systems

• Informs the team leader and/or manager of any problems encountered

• Ensures the availability of the equipment necessary to carry out its tasks

• Gets involved in teamwork and participates in the development of new working methods when it comes to washing equipment

• Guarantees the maintenance of his technical qualifications and his knowledge of the methods and procedures in force.

• Performs any other related task at the request of his manager

Internal relations: Packaging, manufacturing, receiving, warehouse, engineering & HSE and quality staff

4. Knowledge and skills required:

a) Training required

Secondary V or equivalent, DEP or DEC

b) Languages

French

English an asset

c) Special experience and knowledge

Minimum 3 years of experience in a pharmaceutical industry or related field as an operator

d) Specific technical skills

Technical knowledge of processes/products

Knowledge of production tools
