Visiting Professor

The School of Biological Sciences (SBS) at Nanyang Technological University was established in 2002 with the mission to make strong contributions to biological and biomedical sciences. Since then, many talented individuals from around the world and Singapore have joined SBS as scientific leaders, and researchers. Research areas at SBS include infectious diseases, immunology, biomedical structural biology, plant biology and genome function.

Requirements

The candidate should be a full Professor and be in a senior leadership position in a top ranked institute or University in the world. We are looking for an outstanding academic with a strong track record in leading research related to microbial biofilm and microbiomes for environmental, engineering, and public health applications. The candidate should possess a Ph.D. degree in Microbiology from a reputable university.

Responsibilities

The successful applicant will serve at SCELSE and collaborate with faculty members and industry partners in research leading to publications with NTU affiliations in international peer-reviewed journals. Appointee may be involved in teaching.
