Visiting Professional

The Visiting Professionals track of the CITP fellows' program is for professionals---academics and practitioners---who will be on leave from their permanent job. For example, in the past we have hosted professors on sabbatical and journalists on leaves from their newspapers. These are typically 9-month appointments, commencing on or about September 1, 2023, but we are flexible and positions can start anywhere between May 1, 2023 and October 1, 2023. Their primary appointment will be at the rank of "Visiting Research Scholar" or "Visiting Professional Specialist" depending on experience.

Visiting professional track requirements:

*Advanced degree such as M.A., Ph.D. or J.D.
*Applicants must be on leave from another institution. If you are selected, we will require documentation from your home institution stating that you are on leave during your entire appointment period while here at CITP.
