About the Scholarship

As part of Swinburne’s exciting Victorian Hydrogen Hub (VH2) project, we’re looking for a Masters candidate to join the core multidisciplinary research team at VH2. We are seeking people who wish to work at the nexus of humans and technology, and who have the aptitude to undertake solution-focused research as part of a broader multidisciplinary research team.

Led by Swinburne University of Technology, working in partnership with CSIRO and Germany’s ARENA 2036, VH2 will bring together researchers, industry partners and business. Testing, trialling and demonstrating new and emerging hydrogen technologies, VH2 will support sustainable manufacturing practices and the ability to store clean energy from renewable sources, striving to create a sustainable future for all.

A specific focus of this Masters is to investigate how the traceability and transparency provided by Information and Communication Technology, Internet of Things, advanced data analytics and distributed technologies (e.g., blockchain and cloud) can assist renewable energy consumer’s trust. 

About you 
To be successful in the role, you will have:

  • A Bachelor degree in ICT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Economy or relevant disciplines with a minimum average of 70%
  • The ideal candidates are expected to be enthusiastic, self-motivated with a demonstrable aptitude for research and development
  • Research and/or work experience relevant to one of the themes
  • Good team-working, observational and communication skills
