Position description

The Vice President of Refugee Services provides leadership and direction to ensure the cohesive coordination, strategic alignment and effective implementation of the RefugeeServices lines. This position drives the strategic direction of our Refugee Services, ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality and culturally sensitive services.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, international relations, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and validated experience.
• Proven track record of increasingly responsible experience in refugee resettlement and employment services or refugee youth services, including experience in a leadership role.
• Proven success in program development, implementation, evaluation, and outcome achievement.
• Proven understanding of immigration policies, refugee resettlement regulations, employment-related services, and state regulations regarding Foster Care and Child Caring Institutions (CCI).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and team leadership skills.
