About the Department
Laboratory Animal Medical Services (LAMS) is responsible for husbandry and veterinary care of all vertebrate animals on the University of Cincinnati (UC) campus. LAMS is committed to providing high-quality services to meet the needs of the researchers. In addition, LAMS is responsible for assisting researchers in model development, animal usage, humane animal treatment, and compliance with university policies and procedures and governmental regulations.
Job Overview
The Office of Research LAMS department is seeking to fill a Veterinary Technician position. This position will work with the supervisor to provide support for the researchers and the research animals. Someone who has self-starting abilities, the ability to effectively plan, organize work and set priorities, and is dependable while projecting a positive image of the Institution will thrive in this position.
