Ross Bay Animal Hospital is currently welcoming a full time, Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity for an organized, motivated, and empathetic individual to join us in a very important support role for the entire hospital. In this role, you will help our clients and their pets feel welcomed and appreciated!

• Excellent customer service skills; a real aptitude for putting pets and pet parents at ease and creating a welcoming environment

• Ability to answer a multiline phone system and track and book appointments effectively

• Scheduling appointments; Admitting and discharging pet patients

• Invoicing/billing; creating estimates and processing payments

• Take initiative and work independently

• A Veterinary Assistant (VA) or Veterinary Assistant Office Administration (VAOA) program certificate is an asset

• General housekeeping duties; cleanliness of reception area, pet holding areas, and common areas

• Willingness to learn more regarding; veterinary services, updated medical office procedures, and assist the Veterinary staff with various tasks and treatments

• A love for all companion animals!!

Compensation: $16.75 to $25.00 per hour. The hourly rate range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors.
