| Job Summary | The College of Veterinary Medicine seeks a Shelter Medicine/Floater Assistant that will assist with the Shelter Medicine Program with surgical procedures and patient care. In addition, the individual selected for this position will assist other services as needed based on patient demands, and float in the Medicine/Surgery service area to assist with patient care and client needs. | Requirements for Additional Job Levels | Depending on the combination of education and experience, selected candidates may be hired as a Veterinary Assistant and assigned Levels II or III. Level II requires a high school diploma or equivalent plus 2 years of experience. Level III requires a high school diploma or equivalent plus 4 years of experience. Experience must include at least 2 years at the preceding level or equivalent. |
