Specialized and creates and implements recreational programs for participants of all ages and may serve as a lead or mentor for other program instructors and may be required to provide instruction. Program leaders at this level are required to demonstrate considerable discretion, initiative and independence to resolve issues and perform other duties as assigned. Manages the daily operations for the UCI VALORANT team including recruitment, tryouts, practice, competition, and summer camps. Has autonomy to set strategy, analyze problems, and determine appropriate action. Creates positive team environment in close coordination with the Director, Player Support Coordinator, and student team manager.

$19.06 – $25.00

Required:
 
2 years experience
High school diploma or equivalent certification.
Certification to instruct in the applicable recreational sports program or equivalent experience preferred.
Service orientation, program management, sound judgment and decision-making, critical thinking, development of original ideas, and creative problem solving skills. Highly effective verbal and written communication skills in the English language. Proficiency in the use of basic computer applications relevant to job duties Proficiency in the use of basic computer applications relevant to job duties. Experience working in professional VALORANT ecosystem Extensive champion, role, and game knowledge for VALORANT Leadership and interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively across the organization, internally and externally. Client service minded, entrepreneurial spirit and creative thinking skills to resolve issues. Fluency in English Specialized knowledge of program activity and industry best practices. Experience dealing with a wide range of players
 
Preferred:
 
Bachelor’s Degree in related field
Red Cross CPR preferred. Standard First Aid Training Certification perferred.
Knowledge of campus policies and procedures.
 
Special Conditions Required:
 
 Ability to successfully pass FBI and DOJ Criminal Check. Must be willing to work in the evenings and on weekends when practices and com-petitions are most likely to be scheduled. Typically, practices occur between 5pm-10pm PT on weekdays. Matches are typically in the afternoons on weekends
