UX Researcher in Toronto, Ontario

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a UX Researcher for a remote working opportunity with a Big 5 Banking client. You will be responsible for conducting user research and analyzing data to inform multiple product designs (personal and business banking digital products, primarily in the US). You will work closely with the design team from ideation to launch in order to implement design choices that improve user experience. You will also be responsible for developing a well-crafted research plan with clear research objectives, writing usability research screeners and discussion guides, and recruiting targeted end-users for specific research studies. You will be expected to write clear, informative reports outlining goals, methods, and results. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or a related field, and have 2-3 years of experience in UX Research.

Skills and Requirements

2-3+ years professional experience in strictly UX Research roles

Private sector experience

Interactive design experience

Experience employing various UX Research methodologies (usability testing, unmoderated, A/B, interviews, etc.)

End-to-end product experience, supporting designs from ideation to launch

Strength in clearly presenting research, justifying ideas in cross-functional settings, and fostering strong stakeholder relationships. Experience working in banking or at a major financial institution

Experience researching for personal & small business banking digital platforms

Larger scale quantitative methods experience (ie. surveys) null
