The University of Tennessee’s Temporary Help Pool is seeking to fill the position of Simulation Lab Assistant in the College of Nursing Department.

Qualifications

 

This position is responsible for:

• Setting up and breaking down simulation labs for student and faculty use

• Ensures that simulation labs are well-organized, clean and orderly

• Management of supply inventory and restocking supplies to support simulation education activities

• Assists with supervising student simulation lab assistants who perform supportive lab tasks such as recycling supplies, assisting with lab set-ups

• Facilitating use of simulation technology incorporated into educational activities such as moving, turning on and running manikins

Education: High school diploma

Special skills: Organization, attention to detail, ability to follow directions, and excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)

Desired: knowledge of health care supplies/equipment
