The Role

Maynooth University wishes to appoint a User Support Advisor on SEA grade on a full-time contract basis to provide support to IT Services. This role reports to the User Support Manager, supervised by the Senior User Support Advisor and is part of the User Support team. The User Support Team provide 1st and 2nd line support across a range of ICT services including desktop support and Office 365, through a support team, service desk and a student desk.

The User Support team works alongside the Infrastructure team as part of the IT Operations section in IT Services in the design and delivery of ICT services to users. It may be necessary to work outside normal hours on occasion.

User Support Advisor I  Salary Scale:                                                           €39,894 – €49,102 per annum (7 points)

Appointment will be made in accordance with the Department of Finance pay guidelines.
