Context

SAEF is dedicated to empowering communities through initiatives that address critical issues in gender equality, education, agriculture and climate change. We are looking for volunteers to support our work by researching and identifying grant opportunities that align with the organization’s programs

Key Responsibilities

The Online Volunteers will support SAEF by drafting a complete grant proposal for an identified funding opportunity. Online Volunteers must be available for bi‑weekly check‑ins with the organization’s team for updates. Each selected volunteer will submit one draft grant proposal. The grant opportunity, along with all organizational information required to complete the draft, will be provided by SAEF.

Required Skills and Experience

Bachelor’s degree required.
– 2 years demonstrated experience in grant writing or proposal development
-Strong writing and research skills
-Ability to synthesize information into persuasive narratives
-Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
-Excellent Computer skills (Microsoft Office Word, Access, PowerPoint and Excel)
