This breadth of expertise offers unique opportunities to address the complex challenges of modern society, to develop comprehensive new approaches, and educate the problem-solvers of tomorrow from a multidisciplinary perspective.At the Faculty of Chemistry and the Centre for Teacher Education, the University of Vienna seeks to appoint a University Professorof Didactics of Chemistry (full time, limited to a period of 4 years, to fill as soon as possible)The position:The successful candidate has an extensive research portfolio in chemistry didactics, several years of sound experience of working in schools, strong commitment in teaching based on innovative and inclusive teaching and learning concepts, a wide range of experience in experimental practice as well as a strong command of digital media.The University expects the successful candidate to offer an innovative programme in research and teaching in the field of chemistry didactics as well as to contribute to national and international collaborations. A key task of the successful candidate is to continue and further develop the newly established WiL2La laboratory in teaching and research.Your academic profile:

• Doctoral degree/PhD
• Outstanding research achievements, excellent publication and funding record, international reputation

• Enthusiasm for excellent teaching and supervision at the bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral level
