Offer DescriptionIn accordance with § 94 Sec. 2 subpara. 1 of the 2002 Austrian Universities Act, the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences at the Johannes Kepler University Linz announces a faculty opening for a University Professor for System SoftwareThe Department of Computer Science at the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences at Johannes Kepler University Linz invites applications for a full-time permanent professorshipposition under private law for aProfessor for System Softwareto begin immediately. The appointment is in accordance with § 98 of the Austrian Universities Act. An evaluation will be conducted after a five-year period.The successful candidate is expected to represent and further develop the field of System Software in research and teaching. Applicants for the position must have a venia docendi (habilitation degree) or a comparable post-doctorate qualification in the academic field.
