Expected start: May 2025.Tasks:

• Collaboration on research and teaching tasks as well as examinations
• Cooperation and guidance of students (especially in lab courses of the Bachelor and Master studies)
• Research and project activity, i.e. synthesis and characterisation of magnetochemical coordination compounds and/or thermochemical energy storage materials
• Writing a dissertation and publications
• Participation in scientific events
• Assistance/Collaboration in organizational and administrative tasks

Your profile:

• Completion of a master or diploma curriculum in one of these fields: chemistry, technical chemistry
• Skillful and responsible in experimental work
• Advanced IT-skills of chemistry-relevant software is highly desirable
• Experience in at least one of the two research topics in magneto- and thermochemistry such as experience in synthesis, work-up and synthesis-accompanying routine analysis and complex synthesis or experience with thermal energy storage materials is desirable (not required)
• Due to teaching duties in German and collaboration with international partners language skills in German and English communication and writing at least at level B2 is required
• Interest in research in the field as well as supervision and work with students
• Very good communicative skills and team competences and innovative ability
