Expected start: May 2024 (or later).Tasks:

• Conduct doctoral level research in the field of probability (in particular, discrete probability/probabilistic combinatorics/random graphs)
• Publish research results in peer-reviewed journals and write a PhD dissertation in mathematics
• Tutoring of students, collaboration in the research unit’s teaching and organizational tasks
• Participate in scientific events (conferences, workshops, summer schools, etc.)

Your profile:

• Completion of a master curriculum in mathematics
• Strong motivation to do research
• Strong background in probability and/or discrete mathematics
• Fluency in English; Knowledge of German will be highly appreciated
