We are searching for a talented Postdoctoral fellow to work at TU Wien, at the Institute of Visual Computing and Human-Centered Technology, in the Research Unit of Human-Computer Interaction. We offer a position as university assistant (post-doc) limited to 6 years for 40 hours/week. Expected start: July 2024.The emphasis of this position is on the design, development, and evaluation of human-computer interfaces that enhance wellbeing for a diverse range of users. Recognising that wellbeing encompasses various aspects beyond physical activity, the project aims to design technologies that are inclusive and cater to the diverse needs and interests of different users. These different user groups include but are not limited to different age groups (e.g. children, older adults), user group constellations (e.g. families, health professionals), and both neurotypical and neurodivergent individuals.The primary goal is to create engaging experiences that contribute to overall wellbeing, including mental, emotional, and social health. This involves designing systems that facilitate reflective practices, encourage social connectivity, and support personal growth in various dimensions of wellbeing.Tasks:
