JOB OPENINGS FOR WETLAND DELINEATOR/BIOLOGIST

Are you a skilled wetland and stream delineator? Do you have experience with protected species habitat evaluations and presence/absence surveys?

Do you strive to produce good, high quality work and put in the extra effort that it takes to get the job done?

Do you want to be a part of a dynamic team of great ecologists, environmental scientists, and consultants?

Are you ready, willing, and/or able to lead a field team?

Are you interested in learning more about fieldwork, reporting, permitting, mitigation, and restoration?

Can you help make a difference when it comes to collecting data, writing reports, and contributing to make sure all projects are a success?

What other skills or certifications do you bring to the table (drones, arborist, USFWS permitted biologist, etc)?

We’re looking for a couple of qualified scientists that answered “yes” to the questions above.

Position Info

Whitenton Group, Inc. (WGI) is looking for mid to senior level scientists that are proficient in delineation and habitat assessments, but also individuals who are good overall ecologist-types that can write reports and compile permit applications to help the team.

WGI offers a lot of other services including, but not limited to; ecological baseline surveys, erosion and sediment control, wetland/upland/stream habitat restoration, soil and water sampling, LiDAR drone surveying, and wildlife management. The applicant would likely have a role in some of these additional services as well.

Qualifications

Degree in some type of natural resource science preferred. The applicant will have knowledge/skills/abilities to conduct wetland and stream delineations per the USACE guidance and habitat evaluations.

The applicant will be a good communicator, work well in a team, and be a contributor to the overall success of the projects.

Drug screenings, background checks, safety trainings, etc are required for this position.

Must be safety conscious. Our clients and employees depend on it.
