Job Summary This position will assist the National Center for Asphalt Technology (NCAT) staff/faculty members on current projects in support of stated deliverables. The individual will also help NCAT office staff members with daily duties, such as sorting and filing documents, data entry, and other tasks as assigned.
Essential Functions
  • Performing aggregate tests
  • Batching aggregate samples
  • Mixing and compacting asphalt samples
  • Performing volumetric tests on asphalt samples
  • Cutting asphalt samples to required dimensions for testing
  • Prepare packages and deliver mail or run errands around campus
  • Make copies and prepare printed materials for distribution
  • Data entry
  • Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be enrolled Auburn University student and taking classes during the semester of employment, or if not enrolled in courses for the semester of employment, must have been enrolled in the previous semester and registered for a class the following semester (this includes summer semester).

  • Self-Motivated
Preferred Qualifications Students should be reliable and eager to learn through hands-on experience.
Pay Rate $14.50-$19.00/hour
Work Hours 5-20
