Perryville, Missouri Ultrasound Technologist Weekend Call Coverage OpeningsRhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Missouri licensed Ultrasound Tech (US Techs) with ANY weekend availability for ongoing weekend call coverage in Perryville, MO. We are open to candidate availability: every weekend, every other, every 3rd weekend – if you are available to help, we want to speak with you!Opportunity Specifics:

• Contract Type(s): Contract
• Setting: Weekend Call
• Start Date: ASAP – Ongoing
• Schedule: Friday 5:00pm – Monday 7:00a
• Case Responsibilities: Venous Doppler, Scrotal and OB Ultrasound
• Call Response Time: 30 Minutes
• EMR: Epic

As a US Tech, you will be responsible for the use of the ultrasound machine and ensuring that images are accurate and passed on to physicians for medical interpretation. US Techs are also responsible for the preparation of and caring for patients undergoing ultrasound testing.TasksAs a US Tech, you should be prepared to perform the following tasks:

• Use sonographic equipment to identify and observe the area(s) of concern
• Prepare the exam room for examinations and assist Radiologists with ultrasound procedures
• Report any abnormalities that require immediate attention to the appropriate medical staff
• Maintain sonography equipment and report machinery failure
• Conduct scan tests and write reports based on the results
• Maintain accurate patient records

Candidate Requirements:

• Graduate of a school of sonography and completed required clinical hours.
• More than 1 year of relevantexperience
• Certifications: BLS, RDMS National certification, and Missouri license
