Offer Description
The post-doctoral researcher will carry out research on the following areas: Public Economics, Public Finance. A focus on the following topics is not mandatory but appreciated: International Taxation, Tax evasion and tax avoidance, Corporate Taxation,
Tax Havens, International Economics.
The candidate will work in collaboration with Sébastien Laffitte (https://sebastien-laffitte.eu/ ) as part of its research chair.
The candidate will be part of the THEMA, the research lab in economics at CYU Cergy-Paris University. He/She will be provided office space and computer facilities and well as funding for its research activity. The Candidate will also benefit from the active and stimulating research environment in economics in the Paris area.

Skills/Qualifications
The candidate is expected to hold a PhD in economics by the starting date. The candidate should have strong analytical and econometrics skills, and a high standard of research excellence. Applications from all areas of economics are welcome with special emphasis to Public Finance, Public Economics, International Economics, and Applied Econometrics. French is not a requirement. Successful candidates should be able to work independently and collaboratively.
