Position Summary Information

Job Description Summary Covenant School seeks highly energetic and positive individuals with a heart for kids to come in and impact the lives of the youth. We offer basketball, flag football, soccer, volleyball, and cheer as our main sports and are looking for tutors and coaches who want to get involved with the community.
Under the supervision, their designees, implement and supervise programs and activities in structured, specialized program spaces. Specialized content areas include Education and Social Recreation.
Responsibilities
  • Promote program participation.
  • Provide guidance and role modeling to youth.
  • Provide a safe environment through clear rules and expectations.
  • Program Development and Implementation
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities for youth.
  • Ensure the safety of members, quality programs, and a clean appearance
  • Ensure a productive and collaborative work environment by attending weekly staff meetings.
  • Monitor youth while in unstructured program areas.
Required Qualifications
  • Must pass LiveScan Check
  • Ability to motivate youth, manage behavior issues, and keep youth engaged in activities.
  • Ability to be consistent and encourage honesty, responsibility, fairness, sportsmanship, and respect for all involved.
  • Ability to organize and supervise members in a safe environment.
  • Ability to plan and implement quality programs for groups of youth.
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to a work environment that changes often.
  • Ability to work with the general public.
Desired Qualifications
