Trial Manager: AADAPT (Addressing Adolescents’ Depression And their ParenTing)

Applications are invited for a Trial Manager with the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Group at the Department of Psychiatry.    The trial, funded by The Prudence Trust, will involve identifying and recruiting adolescent parents who are experiencing depression and who have a child under the age of one year. Trial participants in the active treatment arm will be supported through an online package of self-help materials (Behavioural Activation; BA) to address their low mood and key parenting skills. Peer mentors will be recruited and trained by the research team to support participants engage with the online materials.

 The post is full time and is based in the Department of Psychiatry at the Warneford Hospital.

The post is for a fixed term (funded for 30 months). 

You will be responsible for working with the Investigators, participants, peer mentors and members of the young people advisory group to ensure the efficient development and delivery of the trial.

You will have experience of working in clinical trial management, having had full responsibility for all tasks within the lifecycle of a trial from design to archiving. You will have experience of research involving human participants, in addition to building and managing projects using REDcap.
