Job Description

CPM is a department within the College of Continuing Education at the University of Oklahoma. We provide public sector agencies, staff, service providers, clients and community partners training, research and consultant support for professional and programmatic development. We deliver cost-effective, customer-oriented solutions that are tailored to meet unique needs and situations.

The CARE Training Supervisor is responsible for development, delivery and evaluation of training, coaching, and supervision of new hires. The Training Supervisor is responsible for development, delivery and evaluation of training, coaching, mentoring and professional development of existing employees, supervisors and managers for CPM contact centers. Training will include customer service, call handling, operational policies and procedures, CPM systems, and customer-specific programs. Position will partner with internal and external subject matter experts to identify training needs, develop curriculum and training materials, and identify and recommend professional development needs.
 



Job Requirements

Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree AND:

  • 12 months of related experience

 Equivalency/Substitution:  Will accept 48 months experience in lieu of the Bachelor’s degree for a total of 60 months related experience.

Skills:

  • Ability to speak, read and write clear, concise English
  • Basic computer skills
  • Customer service
  • Must be able to perform basic data analysis
  • Must be able to read and interpret policy as well as State and Federal regulations

Certifications:

  • None

Advertised Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to engage in repetitive motions, communicate effectively and see.

Departmental Preferences:

  • Experience with call center administration
  • 36 months experience in adult training development and delivery
  • At least 12 months of supervisory experience

Supervision: Will supervise new hires until completion of new hire training
