£19,578 to £20,761 per annum (Grade 3 with progression to Grade 4 £21,197 to £23,144 per annum)

Full-Time, Fixed Term 

If you are interested in starting a career in finance, the University of East Anglia is seeking to appoint a Trainee Finance Assistant to gain significant and wide-ranging experience in delivering finance operations for a world leading UK University.

This training role will provide you with hands-on experience in Business Partnering, Management Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll and Pensions, Procurement and Insurance activities.

The role has an initial 18 month fixed-term training period. On successful completion of this period, you will have the necessary skills and experience to apply for available roles within the Division, or to move to a fixed-term Finance Assistant role at grade 4.

To be the successful candidate you will need to demonstrate organisational skills, customer service awareness, attention to detail, and an aptitude and potential for developing in a fast paced and client focussed finance environment.
