Summary of Duties:
The TMP Director oversees the fiscal management, human resource functions, and related administrative functions related to the Team Mentoring Program (TMP). This position has substantial responsibility for providing leadership and direction; planning, developing, managing, assessing, and administering programs goals for TMP and other STEM initiatives for underserved and underrepresented students in higher education and will also represent the university to internal and external constituents.
Required Qualifications:

Positions require a Bachelor’s degree and four (4) years of professional work experience in student services or related education/experience. One (1) or more years of experience leading or directing the work of others. A Master’s degree in a related field may substitute for one (1) year of professional work experience. Any combination of relevant education and professional experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year‐for‐year basis.

The Director is expected to have comprehensive knowledge and command of the experiences URM students can face during their higher education journey, to be a champion of diversity, equity, and inclusion and other core values present in the University’s Strategic Plan, as well as to execute the duties of the position accordingly.
Preferred Qualifications:
A Ph.D. degree in a related STEM field may be substituted for up to one (2) years of the required experience. Education and experience can be tailored to fit the specific organizational entity/directorial assignment.
