Job Summary: Responsible for the coordination of activities associated with the Title IV-E Traineeship grant to include the coordination and delivery of continuing education credits through workshops, conferences, etc., both face to face and on-line, manage the scheduling and selection process for Title IV-E Traineeship applicants, function as the field liaison for both BSW and MSW students receiving the Traineeship stipend, maintain an on-going relationship with member schools of the Higher Education Consortium on Child Welfare, along with teaching typically 1-2 courses directly related to child welfare during the academic year.
Required Minimum Qualifications: Minimum requirements are now a Master of Social Work degree with a minimum of three years of post-MSW professional work experience in the area of public child welfare.
Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Must have valid U.S. driver’s license. Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies. Applicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions.
Must be willing to travel and work irregular hours as needed.
Skills and Knowledge: Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills. Ability to conduct community, agency, and school meetings.
Preferred Qualifications:
