Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Failure analysis and characterize thin film.
- Model empirical thin film process and performance data
- Develop tools to automate the analysis of thin film characterization data such as from AFM, TEM, spectroscopy, etc.
- Aggregate and correlate material data with process parameters.
Qualifications
REQUIRED:
- Master’s degree or higher in Engineering or a related field with 5 years or more experience in cleanroom-related processing
- Understand Thin-Film Fabrication Processes: PVD, CVD, Plasma-CVD, ALD, etc.
- Able to perform scientific programming and computational physic.
- Good understanding of statistics and machine learning
PREFERRED:
- Proficient in interpreting data collected from various surface characterization techniques including electron and optical microscopy, electron-based and photon-based spectroscopy, and scan probe microscopy.
SKILLS:
- Good command of the English language (verbal and written).
- Good fundamental understanding of basic science and technology.
- Good intercommunication and report-writing skills.
- Proficient in the use of data processing and statistical analysis software.
- Can perform scientific programming to facilitate data processing and analysis and programming Python, R, and COMSOL.
