This Fellowship is named in memory of Arthur John Fitzgerald. Mr. Fitzgerald earned his Master of Counseling degree from ASU in 1984 and strongly believed in the value of higher education. It was his wish to support graduate students as they work towards a doctoral degree in counseling psychology. During his life, Mr. Fitzgerald served as Pastor in many congregations throughout the United States and preached many meaningful sermons fostering ecumenicity, promotion of opportunities for youth, and advancement of housing for the poor.
