Texas Work-Study

• Required to complete all UHD online training pertaining to employment/scholarship
• Required to complete all Houston ISD background check requirements
• Must be available during the hours of 2:00-5:00 pm during weekdays
• Must commit to working 15-20 hours per week during both the fall and spring semesters
• Must be willing to interact with and mentor adolescents

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Enter applications
• Assist in collecting supporting documentation from applicants
• Clerical support duties may include scanning, filing, copying, printing, binding, and make and return phone calls
• Send email notifications
• Use Excel spreadsheets
• Review eligibility for funding
• Interest in reports, research, accounting, and technical communication skills
• Basic knowledge of tax statements preferred​​​​​​​
