By leading the test team, you will be responsible for validating complex automotive electric and electronic systems and you will have the chance to get to know the latest technologies in automotive development even before they are launched on the market.Your Responsibilities

  • Based on the integration- and function implementation plan you will create a suitable test strategy and an aligned test plan
  • You will coordinate the buildup of necessary test resources and ensure the availability of test equipment
  • As well, you will coordinate the availability of necessary test part HW/SW, testcases and test specifications with supporting project team members
  • By using the Magna specific test management tool landscape and based on the test scope for each test loop you will distribute the test cases to the appropriate test resources
  • Monitoring the test progress and collecting, consolidating, and reporting of test results will be your main task during the testing phase
  • You will be working very closely together with the error manager and especially the integration manager with whom you will hand over your test results to evaluate the progress and risks for function implementation status in the project. Furthermore, you will continuously share your experience with other test manager colleagues from other project teams

Who we are looking for

  • Technical secondary school (ISCED 3) or studies (FH / TU) in electrical engineering, automotive engineering, or a comparable subject
  • Preferably you have already gained experience with automotive systems and processes
  • Ideal wise you have already experience with test management process or eventually test management tool knowledge. You have an analytical approach and like to get to the bottom of problems
  • You have a committed appearance, and you are used to act proactive
  • Very good knowledge of spoken and written English, German is a bonus

  • You don’t lose track of things in difficult situations, and you can correctly prioritize parallel tasks

Your profile matters!Your salary will be agreed on the basis of your qualification, professional experience and your future tasks. The minimum salary, depending on qualification, ranges between € 3.130,– and € 4.020,– gross/month (14 x p. a.) on full-time basis.
