We drive innovation to ensure our cutting-edge solutions are helping to solve the biggest challenges in the semiconductor industry.SEMSYSCO is part of LAM Research since 2022.The Impact You’ll MakeIn this position, you as a test engineer play a vital role in supporting panel equipment production. You will have the opportunity to work across organization functions to resolve technical, quality and production challenges, as well as opportunity to develop excellence in product design and test. The candidate will be responsible for developing test procedures on new products from Pilot to high volume, resolving any manufacturing floor test issue, improving product quality, and reducing the test cycle time.What You’ll Do

  • Works cross functionally with design engineering for new product development
  • Ensures PDR deliverables are in place including test fixtures, test procedures, test specifications, and control charts
  • Conducts validation on all new test software and fixtures
  • Defines, designs, documents, builds, calibrates, troubleshoots, and supports all manufacturing test fixtures
  • Software skills to create / modify manufacturing’s test scripts
  • Improves product quality through test first pass yield and trend data. Analyzes factory non-conformances and field escalations for root cause and corrective action
  • Resolves test issues cross functionally with Suppliers, Supplier Engineering, and Design Engineering
  • Presentation & verbal skills to present test fixture designs, test processes or spec changes at engineering design reviews
  • Defines and implements metrics to lead test process improvements
  • Technical writing skills to communicate and document test procedures
  • Ability to accomplish assigned tasks with minimal technical guidance

Who We’re Looking For

  • Coding experience with Python and C++
  • Experience with testing and assembling electro-mechanical assemblies
  • Able to troubleshoot vacuum, pressure, electrical and pneumatic systems
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years experience; or equivalent experience.

A higher payment is negotiable depending on expertise, education, and skills. The monthly salary is paid 14 times per year.
