The University of Alaska Fairbanks invites applications for a term instructor, non-tenure track position in the Accounting Program. The College of Business and Security Management is accredited by the AACSB. Primary duties are to teach five to seven courses per year at the undergraduate/graduate level. Must be able to teach in-person and distance delivery courses. In-person classes will be taught at the Fairbanks Troth Yeddha’ Campus. Outstanding teaching and excellent communication skills are required. Candidates will participate in departmental and university service and engage in continuing professional development and research. This position is term-funded and is reviewed annually for contract renewal at the University’s discretion.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Ability to teach undergraduate courses in Accounting. Successful applicants should have a portfolio of current relevant work experience in Accounting. Preferred candidates will have experience teaching both online and in the classroom.
Typical Experience:
Candidates are also required to have significant accounting-related experience. CPA and/or CIA preferred.
Required Education or Training:
Candidates are required to possess an earned Masters of Accounting or a related degree. Ph.D. preferred.
Salary Information:
This is a 9-month, full-time appointment with a competitive salary and full employee benefits package . Salary is based on UNAC Grade 40, and is dependent on education and experience.
