TENURE-TRACK POSITION – Department of Biology

The Department of Biology at Brandon University invites applications for a probationary tenure track position in Genomics beginning July 1, or as mutually agreed, subject to budgetary approval. The department of Biology is in a period of active growth and rejuvenation, particularly with respect to modernizing our undergraduate program. We seek an outstanding research-active individual who will contribute to this momentum.

Qualifications: A doctorate in Genomics or related discipline with preferred specialization in functional genomics, gene editing, comparative genomics, and/or genome evolution. Evidence of research productivity is required, and preference will be given to applicants with experience instructing genomics at the undergraduate level and a successful record of teaching. Applicants may seek to establish an experiential/traditional equivalency to the Doctorate degree and are invited to contact the Office of the Dean of Science on how to establish equivalent academic or professional credentials.

Rank & Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
