The Description
The Faculty of Education at Mount Saint Vincent University invites applications for a tenure-track position in Educational Mathematics, with an emphasis on mathematics learning differences, at the Assistant Professor level starting on 1 July 2024. We are especially interested in scholarship that focuses on inclusive practices, assessment, multitiered system of supports, and evidence-based approaches in the mathematics classroom.
The successful candidate will be able to teach courses in educational mathematics in the B.Ed. elementary and secondary programs as well as in the Faculty’s graduate programs. Experience teaching at the K-12, B.Ed., and graduate levels will be considered an asset.
The duties of the successful applicant will include teaching and academic advising as part of a regular teaching load, maintaining an active scholarly/professional program, and participating in collegial service. Salary and benefits are in accordance with the Collective Agreement with the Mount Saint Vincent University Faculty Association.
