The Faculty of Education invites applications for a tenure-track position in Technology Education at the Assistant Professor rank, starting July 1, 2024.
Applicants should hold a doctorate or be close to the completion of this degree. The disciplinary background of the candidate may include Educational Technology, Learning Sciences with a technology and design focus, Assistive Technology, Emerging Technology, or a closely related field with a clear concentration on the application of technology to learning and instruction in K-12 classroom and postsecondary contexts. We are particularly interested in candidates who have a broad mastery of scholarship in Educational Technology involving theory-informed design and use of technological innovations to support teaching and learning.
The successful candidate will be able to teach courses about technology integration in both the BEd and graduate programs. Experience teaching at the K-12, BEd and graduate level would be an asset.
Workload includes teaching, research, and collegial service. Salary and benefits are in accordance with the Collective Agreement with the Mount Saint Vincent University Faculty Association. This position is subject to final budgetary approval.
