Job Description
The Journalism Fellow will provide essential research and communications support for a joint collaboration between the American Public Media (APM) Research Lab and the Ten Across initiative at Arizona State University. The position will help build necessary capacity to increase the relevance and reach of both organizations and raise their visibility locally and nationally.
Supporting and collaborating with existing staff members from both organizations, the Journalism Fellow partners with the teams to produce and distribute more unique analysis—with opportunities therein to create more revenue opportunities. This position, will give you the opportunity to develop skills and experiences related to data journalism, including research, analysis, reporting, digital storytelling and more as well as experience in public media operations. In addition to professional development, this position will expand their network with other professionals in the industry.
