£48,534 to £65,148 plus 6% market supplement (dependent on experience)

The role
 

Working within Digital & Technology, the Technical Project Manager will focus on managing the pipeline and delivering multiple complex technology projects and change initiatives, prioritised by the Director of Technology, to meet UAL’s overall strategy.

You will ensure customer needs are met and initiatives are delivered on time and to budget. You will take a service design approach within the delivery of technology change and ensure the University’s service needs are met through the continued development of their product roadmaps.

The role will support a wide variety of projects in the Technology space, such as implementing InTune, creating a CMDB, leading a review of Identity management and supporting Cyber Essentials accreditation.

Your profile
 

Your profile:

• Experience of working within a large organisation to deliver full lifecycle technology change
• Experience of delivery across any of the following technology services: Networks, Telephony, Hosting, Storage, Cybersecurity, Identity, Audio Visual, Collaboration Platforms, User Support, Computers, Software and Printing
• Proven experience of championing and driving through technology change, working with technical and operational teams to embed new services in the live environment
• Strong stakeholder management experience with both internal technology teams and the wider organisation
• Strong supplier management skills, including negotiating, influencing, and building strong and effective working partnerships
• Experience of prioritising workloads across multiple projects/ change initiatives, and ability to organise time and resources effectively; creating detailed work schedules, and prioritising the activities needed to drive the change forward
• Experience of forming governance, including relationship management with sponsors and influencers, and efficient and timely management of pre-board reporting and all follow-up activity
• Experience of effectively communicating complex and/or technical information to a diverse audience, leading to productive and trusted ‘partnership’ working relationships across the University
