Post Summary
The Hazardous Materials Facility (HMF) is a unit that provides the safe and compliant management of hazardous / clinical waste and the supply of lab consumables and chemicals to various schools throughout the University and associated off-campus sites. This post is required to ensure compliance with hazardous waste legislative requirements, deliver services based on best practice for the disposal of chemical/ biological waste and to maintain supply of chemicals and consumables to meet the requirements of the research and teaching labs in the college.
Post status: Permanent
Hours of Post: 36.5 hours per week
Salary: This appointment will be made on the Technical Officer Merged Salary Scale (€33,866 – €52,664 per annum) at a point in line with current Government pay policy. monthly/weekly payscales. (tcd.ie)
