The Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe (CIRSE) is a non-profit making, educational and scientific association aiming to improve patient care through the support of teaching, science, research and clinical practice in the field of cardiovascular and interventional radiology. Based in Vienna, the society represents more than 9,600 members and organises the largest annual IR congress in the world. Our main mission is to provide education and training to our members, to enhance patient care and to constantly improve the medical discipline of interventional radiology.We are now looking for a new team member to join our Congress & Event Management Department. Congress & Event Management Department
1010 Vienna | full time | | immediate startIhre Aufgaben
- Handling database processes and upkeep
- Dealing with day-to-day communications with members, delegates and event registrants
- Supporting the team with registration and membership requests both in house, online and onsite
- Organisation and management of flight and hotel bookings
- Handling of Visa application processes
- Booking of transfers and shuttle services
- Administration and assistance of internal and external meetings
- Supporting department heads and team members with other projects
Ihr Profil
- Fluent written and spoken English (C1 level) and German (minimum B2 level)
- Strong front of house skills, organisational, analytical, good time management and problem-solving skills
- Customer focus, accuracy, stress resistance
- Experience in the congress and tourism industry
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
- Motivation and enthusiasm to work as part of a small, ambitious team, as well as having the drive and self-sufficiency to work independently
Desirable qualifications, skills and experience
- Experience in hospitality and/or customer service/relationship management
- Previous experience with hotel and flight booking systems
- Previous experience with event management software, in particular EventsAIR
- Proficiency in additional language(s)
- Passion for travelling
