Teaching Associate: £32,348 to £43,414 per annum (pro rata if applicable). Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.
Clinical Assistant Professor: £42,144 to £53,353 per annum (pro rata if applicable). Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance. The salary offered to the successful candidate will attract a consolidated AVA and a non-consolidated clinical supplement, dependent on the amount of clinical work undertaken.
The University of Nottingham, School of Veterinary Medicine and Science wishes to expand its veterinary exotics and wildlife team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the development of future veterinary surgeons and veterinary exotics and wildlife teaching by sharing your knowledge and experience to ensure competence and inspire life-long learning.
Primarily based at the Sutton Bonington Campus, working with academics, clinicians and clinicians in associate veterinary practices you will contribute to the development and delivery of exotics teaching and assessment of relevant subject teaching throughout the course. This will include assisting with the teaching and delivery in the final year on the exotics track rotations.
Additionally, you will assist in the further development the School’s programme of postgraduate training in exotics teaching.
You will have a veterinary degree registrable with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons and have experience in working in small animal practice with an exotics caseload or service, and ideally have had experience of an academic environment.
The School has a diverse range of research activities, facilities and equipment to support an enquiring mind. Collaboration with research teams will be encouraged.
This is a permanent, full time role (36.25 hours). Arrangements for job share would be considered.
