Position Summary:

Laboratory demonstrations to students; preparation of laboratories; general student consultation; grading of laboratory notebooks and evaluation of student performance in the laboratory.

Lab: WR 9:35-17:25

Your duties shall be outlined in the Workload form, to be completed by the course lecturer and signed by both parties.


Graduate student with experience in E. coli recombinant protein expression systems; protein-protein interactions and knowledge of high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and protein purification techniques.  In addition, excellent oral communication skills (English) and proficient teaching skills are essential. 

Please note that Teaching Assistants will be required on campus to perform their tasks in person.  Should anything prohibit in-person teaching activities, courses will migrate to remote teaching. In the event of such a change, Teaching Assistants will be advised as soon as possible.  Teaching Assistants may be required to perform tasks suited to a remote/online teaching environment using a virtual learning platform [e.g., Zoom, WebEx] and the McGill myCourses learning management system.
