In the inaugural year (2023), the funding organisation is Tauranga City Council (TCC ), who are investing in two Scholarships within Environmental Science and/or Civil Engineering.
Eligibility
Established in 2022 to enable the University of Waikato and its partners to support talented undergraduate students to study in Tauranga on areas of importance to employers in the region. The Scholarships provide up to $40,000 throughout a student’s undergraduate programme, as well as opportunities for work-integrated-learning experience, project based learning, paid work placement and networking.
