The Leadership and Organizational Effectiveness (LOE) Consultant in Talent Management at the OSU Wexner Medical Center will be a well-rounded talent management professional supporting professional development, leader development and organization development across various units. LOE Consultants are responsible for providing thought leadership and management for at least one of our core LOE functions with an ability to consult across all, as they partner with their internal clients: HR consultants and the leaders they support. Learning and development, engagement, performance management, coaching, culture, engagement, onboarding, change management and succession planning are all in scope for an LOE consultant.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborates effectively with teammates and stakeholders to develop, maintain, and lead a core LOE function, creating point of view, approach and related content while continually evaluating success and effectiveness of programming
  • Develops and facilitates creative values-based OD interventions (teambuilding, group facilitation, improvement efforts, change management, performance development) as indicated by the needs of the group or department
  • Must be able to review and analyze quantitative to arrive at valid conclusions, recommendations, and plans of action
  • Utilize learning & development processes and tools to scope business and process requirements for strategic initiatives that require learning solutions
  • Coach and consult with staff, faculty, and leaders at all levels to identify gaps, make recommendations, and influence approach to addressing talent and organization development
  • Facilitate various learning events, programs, and workshops via multiple delivery methods, including Instructor-led, virtual, eLearning, and blended formats
  • Provide self-assured, engaging and insight provoking facilitation for staff, leaders, and teams
  • Partner with external vendors where appropriate managing budget and vendor agreements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree related to Organizational Development, Business Strategy, Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology
  • At least 4 years in Leadership and Org Development/HR or related field
  • Coaching experience with a coaching certification preferred (ICF program desired) – Strong preference for coaching in an internal practice.
