Consult with hiring authorities to develop recruitment strategies primarily for, but not limited to, technical positions at Cornell.

What you will bring to the role:
We are looking for a teammate with a proven record of proactively sourcing talent and making the appropriate referrals to hiring authorities; specifically, you will:
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in HR, Psychology, Business Administration, or other related field and a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
At least 1-2 years of experience recruiting specifically for technical roles.
Know how to use a consultative approach to partner with hiring authorities to develop defined recruitment strategies and timelines.
Excel at relationship-building and have influencing skills, particularly the ability to influence without direct authority with a wide range of stakeholders.
Seek to develop rapport with contacts to build diverse and high-performing talent pools.
Be tech-savvy and have experience using applicant tracking systems, have a professional social media presence, and a desire to use emerging recruiting platforms to source and engage talent.
Leverage your listening, verbal, and written communication and presentation skills to build and maintain positive working relationships and credibility.
Demonstrate knowledge of employment laws and compliance regulations that serve as the guidepost to your work.
Have objectivity and experience articulating both positive and negative feedback to candidates professionally.
Use your keen eye for detail and seek to provide a seamless, enjoyable, and consistent candidate experiences that can be demonstrated by past successful customer service delivery.
