Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Lead the Talent Acquisition Partner (TAP) will support the Chief Operating Officer/Chancellery in the delivery of best practice, customer-focused recruitment strategies that attract and retain the best talent. You will build trusted relationships with your stakeholders, deeply understanding their requirements and tailoring recruitment strategies to provide a high-value service offering. You will lead recruitment processes, play a vital role in sourcing and candidate engagement and grow our employer brand.

The Talent Acquisition Advisor contributes to the delivery and coordination of recruitment, supporting attraction, assessment and process management. You will provide efficient and effective support across the recruitment process and be a primary point of contact for queries relating to the recruitment function, working with stakeholders within the Talent Acquisition Team and broader University.

Responsibilities include:

  • Actively promote the value of the TA function, developing deep relationships and ensuring service is delivered to a high standard and in line with broader recruitment and resourcing strategies.
  • Deploy effective recruitment delivery and attraction strategies, using your knowledge of best practices, legislation and policy to ensure an exceptional experience for hiring managers and candidates.
  • Lead proactive recruitment discussions with hiring managers, documenting agreed recruitment plans, including role requirements, timeframes, responsibilities for all involved, and the selection process.
  • Lead the proactive engagement and sourcing of candidates including the development of talent pipelines to respond to business needs.
  • About You
    You are a passionate TA professional committed to providing an excellent level of service for your customers with a focus on continuous improvement. Your exceptional communication and interpersonal skills allow you to develop strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

    Furthermore the Talent Acquisition Partner will utilise their sound knowledge of recruitment best practices and strategic mindset to influence conversations and operations, driving positive outcomes. Additionally you will have developed expertise in various candidate sourcing strategies and management of agencies.

    You will also have:

    • A relevant tertiary qualification and/or prior experience in a similar role.
    • Proven experience providing end to end TA support including meeting tight deadlines and dealing with conflicting demands.
    • Established skills in clarifying and applying best practice recruitment policies and processes.
