Job Summary
Performs administrative duties and coordinates a variety of activities in support of the recruitment function in partnership with Talent Acquisition Consultants on the team.
Position Description
- Coordinates interview schedules throughout the hiring process
- Conducts administration of recruiting activities for assigned functions which includes input of draft job postings into applicant tracking system (Harvard Careers), drafting offer letters and facilitating pre-employment screening and reference check process
- Advertises and post jobs externally based on Talent Acquisition Consultant and hiring manager recommendations
- May review resumes and screen applicants for applicable background and skills
- Contributes to the overall department goals by accomplishing assigned duties as required and participating in special projects
- Other duties as assigned, in response to changing needs of the group

- Two years of professional administrative experience required. Education and/or training related to the nature of the job may count towards professional experience.

- Demonstrate computer proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint as well as Outlook calendaring preferred
- Successful experience to display skills in applicant sourcing, and screening compared to reviewing a job description highly desired
- Ability to show confidence at work, and communicate effectively across a highly complex decentralized, diverse business organization is preferred
- Must be flexible, enthusiastic, customer-focused and responsive
- Strong knowledge of talent acquisition process is helpful
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of state and federal employment laws
- Ability to prioritize work, multi-task, and attention to detail are essential
- Previous experience in utilizing technology such as desk top publishing, social networking, applicant tracking systems, internet sourcing and database management
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to cultivate strong professional relationships inside and outside the institution
- Must be proactive and have appropriate sense of urgency
- Responsible with handling sensitive and confidential information
Additional Information
The schedule for this position is full – time, 35 hrs/week.
