Systems Developer (Identity and Access Management)

We have an exciting opportunity to join the IT Services Department as a Systems Developer (Identity & Access Management) working hybrid/office.

About the Role

The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Team is responsible for the key identity, registration, provisioning and authentication services on which the University depends for authorised access to systems, resources and buildings, and this is an opportunity to develop and integrate new and existing IAM capabilities in partnership with other IT Services teams, data practitioners, and University stakeholders.

About You

You will have experience in software development and systems design, with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills and a good understanding of the practice of the software development lifecycle. Good programming skills, a working knowledge of database platforms will be essential, as well as strong SQL skills, a good understanding of data serialization formats, and an appreciation of the importance of and best practices around data management, data protection, and data privacy.

You will be excited about working in an expert team where quality of service, attention to detail, and a willingness to respond positively to ne w challenges are all important.
